Today in Region 9 Computer Tech 1, February 25 2009. First I observed fellow classmate Tyson Hanson install a lightbulb into a projector. Then I observed Tate plugging the cord into my laptop and the projector, to check if it worked. After that worked Tyson and I went down to Automotives and troubleshooted a printer issue. After checking randoming things I changed the port the ethenet was plugged into, and the printer was working again. Wonderful! Later on I attempted to help fix metal trades very horrid and terrible computer but the Internet Explorer wouldn't work on it! So it was a failure. I also used compressed air to clean the dust out of a computer in the computer tech room.
Today in Region 9 Computer Tech 1, February 27 2009. Today I studied chapter 10 in Cisco, and answered a 5-6 page document. That's basically it. :D
Today in Region 9 Computer Tech 1, March 3, 2009. I looked for a resolution for Mrs.Brown's brother's laptop. Found out that he needed a new DC Power Adapter Jack. Then I tried to figure out how to set up a Virtual Private Network but the school has aproxy so I can not.
Today in Region 9 Computer Tech 1, March 5, 2009. I solo fixed a plato laptop internet connection. Then I took a test and got a 78% on it.
Today in Region 9 Computer Tech 1, March 13, 2009. I smoked my computer's hard drive. I retook two tests and got 95%s I also did a test and got 90% on it.
Today in Region 9 Computer Tech 1, March 17, 2009. I reinstalled Vista on my computer and downloaded all the drivers. Also there was a so called "inappropriate" picture conjured by Tyson. I do not believe that it was inppropriate, because what about the freedom of speech? No one was offended by this picture. Yes, maybe he should have been using his time differently. But he is not behind so that seems irrelevant. As for it being considered inappropriate I do not agree on any terms because this picture is just a small joke, in a society where everything is offensive. Isn't there more things that are more important to preach about than a silly mspaint conjured photo?
Today in Region 9 Computer Tech 1, March 19 2009. I read on Social Engineers like Steven Jay Russell. I also studied for the 1-10 chapter test. woo.
Today in Region 9 Computer Tech 1, April 2 2009. I finished a chapter 11 study guide, and took chapter 11 test got a 76%. Also I took chapter 1-10 test got a sixty something percent. Then I retook that and got a 100%. I've just been working on what I needed to do to catch back up.
Today in Region 9 Computer Tech 1, April 9 2009. I finished a powerpoint and took chapter 12 test and retook chapter 11 and got a 100%. I did horrible on the chapter 12 test but scored highest. [=< breakfast sandwhich for me. Oh and I made fun of Tate for being so MTV mainstream.
Today in Region 9 Computer Tech 1, May 1 2009. I took chapter 12 test. ANd retook chapter 12 and 13 tests. Decided Coleman and myself are the best ever!!!
Today i took chapter 12 and 13 test and chilled.
Today I did the chapter 14 packet and took the test. i learned all the different ports for printers. SCSI parallel serial usb and ethenet
Today I did a study guide and flash cards. I found a website that I would use to troubleshoot and understand networking.http://www.networktutorials.info/
It is a very easy site to use and it gives excellent tutorials and descriptions. (:
